Lawry's @ Paragon

Me and Tim have always been passing by thinking of giving this expensive place a try.. so he decided to give me a treat as a bdae gift.. Huiyee came with us too and shared the big bill with Tim.. thanks guys! =)

woah, it wasnt a cheap one i must say.. i ordered the cheapest cut of beef - California Cut and it cost him $56.80!

yeah this was it.. haha though it comes with a buffet of appetizers and desserts, i guess the price is juz too much. first time.. so its alright, since we've both always wanted to try.. now we're well satisfied..

seriously, the beef wasnt as fantastic as i expected. maybe cos of the price, i expected alot more.. but isnt too bad either. worth trying for the very first time! i mean, if u dun try, u'll never knw. its subjective ! soft and tender.. and sauce is pretty light so it doesnt cover up the original taste of the beef ;) see that piece of thing beside the mashed potatoes and beef? its actually fried egg.. weird combi eh? but it taste good. one of the nicest fried egg i ever eaten..

the staff gathered to sing me a birthday song. seriously its the most WOAH birthday song i ever heard.. they sang so well, i thought they're a part-time choir. hahaha! the Lawry's version. u guys gotta hear it to know it.. hard to explain how WOAH-ed it was. haha.. damn paiseh though.


and thats us ;) though not very well taken, but its the only group photo we have for today..

and then, we went down to Chinatown's Tea Chapter @ Neil Road for a little tea session. for once i felt damn cultured.. didnt went there cause we wanted to drink tea, but to accompany Huiyee there to do a project - Design of Teapot (yeah she's from Temasek Poly's design school)

a pretty nice place to chit chat ! cosy and cooling.. learnt a lil more abt tea culture too..
